The coercion was felt by the wandering wizards. The middle-aged man's face turned pale with fright.
Next, everyone collapsed onto the ground. They realized that they had kicked an iron plate.
"Lord, forgive us," the middle-aged man pleaded.
His eyes were filled with terror. There was no greed anymore. His subordinates resigned themselves to their fate.
They felt they were going to be buried here.
"Alright, I will spare your lives. But follow me from now on," I ordered them.
Hearing that, the wandering wizards agreed. Then I told them to stand. I told them that I was going to visit a few cities in the Dark Territory. I didn't mention Dust City.
"Lord, the Dark Territory is huge. But I'm familiar with most of the famous cities. I can help you," the middle-aged man said.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Lord, my name is Carlos," he replied.
