Otto decided to tell me everything without hiding anything.
"Master, I overheard something incredible. The person you spoke of was imprisoned in a cell within the City Lord's building."
"But I didn't hear anything about the Forbidden Wizards," he added.
Hearing that, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. If Manager Lara was locked up in the City Lord's cell, it meant that Forbidden Wizard Remi had connections with the City Lord.
I took Otto back inside the Gregor Mansion before coming out.
Shortly afterwards,
The staff arrived with the menu. I ordered a simple drink. It took ten minutes for the staff to bring it out.
When the staff left, I picked up the cup to drink.
[Ding! Warning!]
[The drink has been mixed with a terrible poison.]
The system's voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my expression turned serious. Who was targeting me? The image of the Restaurant Manager came to mind.
