After going through one room after another, I decided to buy this building. It had one more important feature: a fortified basement.
I didn't know why they built such a basement; no one was going to attack the satellite cities under the Silver Tower, especially Crystal City, which was directly under their protection.
Regardless, the basement was going to be useful to me.
Manager Lara was satisfied with the building as well. She believed no one would come here to bother Vincent Carey.
At the same time, Supervisor James was gathering every detail.
He was keen to find out the identity of the masked man who was likely to be the new owner of this building. Yet, Manager Lara didn't reveal any name at all.
He could only stay quiet, but he clearly thought he would soon uncover the masked man's identity.
Shortly afterwards, I said to her, "Manager Lara, I like this building."
"Let's finalize the deal," Manager Lara replied.
