The main reason was that the opponent could detect his location.

Before he could even catch his breath, Goya Trensu's scalp tingled. Kaos descended from the sky, pressing down with a kick. Goya Trensu rolled away clumsily once more, but Kaos's movements were also very fast.
In a blink, he flashed, his right leg pulled back, then kicked out with unstoppable force.
Goya Trensu crossed his arms over his abdomen, taking a direct hit to the stomach. His eyes nearly burst, and he was sent sliding across the ground like a cooked shrimp. Unable to maintain control, he was ultimately sucked into the tornado.
