Chapter 67 - Chapter 67

The waiter's movements were swift, bringing out all sorts of mellow wines and delicious dishes, practically treating Kaos as a reborn parent. After all, Kaos was very generous.

Each waiter received ten gold coins as a tip, which were high-density pure gold with no impurities whatsoever.

Just as Kaos and Crocodile were enjoying their meal, a patched-up Pirate Crew ship docked at the harbor. The fluttering skull flag bore the head of an unknown species of bull.

"Boss, we're rich."

A group of pirates disembarked. Leading them was a six-meter-tall man with a patched mace at his waist, a simple, honest face, and a nose ring.

He clearly looked like a simple-minded, brawny fellow. Buffalo Aquite, with a bounty of 220 million.

He was the Captain of the Buffalo Pirate Crew, and quite famous on the surrounding islands. However, this fame wasn't for being notoriously evil, but rather a synonym for honesty, even foolishness.

Because this fellow never killed, plundered, or robbed civilians or merchant ships. He only acted against pirates who engaged in killing and plundering, making him a very principled pirate.

The civilians on the surrounding islands weren't afraid of him. Because of this, the Buffalo Pirate Crew was often dirt poor, as evident from the tattered, patched clothes worn by all the pirates.

Their Pirate Crew ship was also patched up, looking like it was covered in various large band-aids. The reason Buffalo Aquite's bounty was so high was because he had beaten to death several Marines who bullied civilians, including several Rear Admirals.

Even a regular Vice Admiral who tried to capture him was nearly beaten to death. Despite his simple-minded appearance, he was very strong in combat.

"How are we rich?"

Aquite blinked his large eyes, asking in a deep voice, his mind a bit slow to grasp the situation.

"Boss, I just heard news that the Golden Emperor is on the island. If we catch him, we'll be living the high life and become the richest people in the world."

One of Aquite's subordinates was very excited. He had been hearing about the Golden Emperor's reputation a lot lately.

He never expected to find him on Post Island, a stroke of luck after searching far and wide. Now, everyone on the street was talking about it; it was hard not to know.

"Is he a bad guy?"

Aquite stared with his bull eyes. He only killed bad guys who killed, plundered, and bullied others; this was his last stubborn principle.

"Probably!"

The minion scratched his head, not quite sure. The other minions also had dumb expressions. It was a miracle this ship full of simpletons hadn't been annihilated.

Little did they know, the entire ship actually only had nine people, including Buffalo Aquite himself.

"Why don't we just go ask him?"

A pirate wearing a patched-up hat suddenly had a flash of inspiration.

"That's right!"

"We'll know if we ask."

"Then let's go!"

Ten minutes later, outside the tavern!

"Isn't that Buffalo Aquite, that idiot?"

"He hasn't been on Post Island for several days. He's a rare guest today."

"Is that the famous simpleton, Aquite?"

"That's him. Don't let his height fool you; he's actually very foolish."

Many pirates and civilians around looked at Buffalo Aquite and his group, already accustomed to their presence.

"What is that simpleton going to do?"

Under everyone's gaze, Aquite led his eight subordinates into the tavern, looking around as if searching for something.

"Boss, he's the Golden Emperor."

As the brains of the ship, Little Six pointed at Kaos, who was elegantly enjoying his steak and red wine.

Aquite immediately turned his head, and as he walked, it seemed even the ground trembled. His six-meter-tall body stood there, blocking the sunlight coming through the window.

His eight subordinates followed behind, all drooling at the delicious food on the table. Aquite's reaction was even more pronounced; his gulping could be heard even outside the tavern.

Kaos unhurriedly put down his knife and fork, swirling his red wine glass with his right hand as he scanned the large man from head to toe.

From head to toe, his clothes were all patched up. Even the mace at his waist was patched and mended; it was more like a stick than a mace, with only two or three sparse spikes remaining.

Poor! Simple!

These were Aquite's first impressions of Kaos.

Then he looked at the minions behind this large man; they were also wearing tattered, patched clothes and were constantly drooling, staring at the food on the table.

Some couldn't control their drool, which was already flowing onto their chests. It was too shabby.

For such a large man to be in this state was quite a feat. Even Crocodile was slightly taken aback.

"Are you the Golden Emperor?"

Aquite with great difficulty averted his gaze from the food, looking at Kaos and asking in a deep voice.

Gurgle gurgle ~

A sound came from his fat belly. Aquite's honest, big face flushed, feeling very embarrassed.

"Is there a problem?"

Kaos's expression was a little strange; this guy had no intimidating presence at all! Even though he was a massive six meters tall, three times his size.

"Did you kill a lot of people?"

Little Six wiped his drool, questioning Kaos with a righteous expression. Like a partner of justice.

"And then?"

Kaos looked at these people as if they were idiots!

"Boss, he admitted it."

"He's indeed an evil guy."

Several pirates immediately pointed accusing fingers at Kaos, each holding their shabby weapons in a state of alert.

The more Kaos looked, the more he felt these guys were mentally challenged. It was simply inexplicable.

"Since that's the case, then die!"

Aquite's eyes widened in anger. He drew the patched-up mace from his waist, which quickly turned pitch black, and swept it horizontally towards Kaos.

Good heavens, one moment he was simple and foolish, the next he transformed into a primordial beast. The change in his aura was like the sky collapsing and the earth rending.

This strike, even before it arrived, was mighty and imposing. If it were wrapped in lightning, it would be a Thunder Bagua.

Bang!!!

A violent wind howled through the entire hall. Tables, chairs, and benches were instantly pulverized. Many pirates were sent flying, spitting blood, and even Crocodile's expression changed.

"He does have some skill."

The entire restaurant floor was shattered. When the dust storm cleared, Kaos's indifferent voice was heard.

"How is that possible!"

Little Six and the others, who had already retreated, stared dumbfounded as Kaos's entire right arm, turned black and gold, gripped the mace.

He remained seated on the stool without moving an inch, his black spiky hair and golden earrings flying wildly.

When his golden feather coat settled behind him, Kaos's five fingers released the mace and moved it aside. He looked at the red-faced, vein-popping Aquite and lightly pushed him.

The latter uncontrollably stumbled backward, his honest, big face showing a hint of surprise.

Boom!!!

The dilapidated roof was pierced, and a massive object crashed to the ground. Everyone felt the ground shake, and then, as the dust cleared, a golden warrior, six meters tall, stood up from a kneeling position, holding the mace in his hand.

His golden eyes rotated, and he strode majestically towards Aquite.

"Defeat him, and I will forgive your offense."

Kaos casually waved his right hand. The golden warrior shot forward with a roar, his left foot sinking deep into the mud.

He gripped the golden mace with both hands and, tearing through eardrums, smashed it towards Aquite.

"Watch me defeat him."

Aquite stared with his bull eyes. His tattered mace was once again wrapped in Armament Haki, and he directly met the attack head-on.

He was very confident in his brute strength.

Crack! Boom!

The two maces collided with a terrifying crash, and the air pressure spread out again, making Kaos's feather coat and earrings flutter, and further shattering the already precarious tavern.
