Shu Yu sat in the restaurant for about an hour before leaving, and before leaving, she packed some desserts.
As she walked out of the restaurant, she glanced again at the beggar in the corner, shook her head, sighed, and said, "What a pity."
The staff who saw her off sighed along, "Yes, it's rare to meet a kind person like the young lady today, who gave so much in reward. At least he'll have a good meal."
He could also have a good meal, as he had spent considerable effort to please the young lady, who rewarded him with... half a tael of silver. Though it wasn't as emotional as with the beggar, it was worth it.
Shu Yu withdrew her gaze, carrying the desserts, and left without looking back.
Her movements remained unhurried, and she still seemed curious about her surroundings, occasionally stopping to look at interesting things or buying things she liked.
The items weren't restricted to food or toys; she even bought a strangely shaped bowl that caught her interest.
