Heaven's favor. Lex knew a little something about this. In essence, it was like a good luck charm, but one that actually worked. Wherever he went, whatever he did, the universe would favor him. His bottlenecks would be loosened, he would discover amazing treasures, oh, and also, he would also be tagged by the universe as a lackey and would be dragged into troublesome situations.
But Lex did not fear any of that, nor was that the reason he knew about it. Jack was cursed, and his curse would affect not just him, but those close to him, and so Jack had been looking for ways to overcome his curse. Receiving Heaven's favor was one way to effectively neutralize the effects of the curse, even if it didn't necessarily eliminate the curse itself.
When he had a moment of free time, Lex would think about how to transfer the favor over to Jack. Currently, he was slightly occupied being baptised by holy light, while also trying to control his newfound strength from destroying the Crystal realm.
