Lex lay on the ground, looking up in the air as drool slowly rolled down his cheek, his eyes unfocused. His body radiated the aura of a level 8 Heaven Immortal, and he looked like the picture of heath. After overcoming all the tribulations, the boost he received from his upgrade in cultivation allowed him to recover back to perfect health. However, he felt mentally fudged.
How had he even survived those tribulations? He couldn't quite remember. At one point, he was undergoing Fire and Lightning tribulations at the same time, and if that wasn't enough, a strange bug was attracted by all the commotion.
Normally, no one could interfere with tribulations, lest they get punished as well. That was why it was impossible to help others pass their tribulations, as not only would the helper suffer, the tribulation for the one passing would also become more difficult.
