Chapter 1380 - Chapter 1380. Of Serenity and Passion.

In Yasenia's backyard, the dragon girl was peacefully sitting on the soft grass growing in her garden. While this was an area of Death, there were weed types that grew here to create soft grass beds. The color of the grass was not a vibrant green, but a softer brown and grey, giving it a carpeted and ashen touch.

Their color didn't make them less comfortable to sit on, though. Yasenia, wearing only a loose white robe, was sitting in a half-seated mermaid position and resting her torso on her hand while her other hand played with the plants.

Her soft silver eyes brimmed with calm. The white robe and her long black hair flowed lightly in the chilly breeze.

Even when it was a cold wind, Yasenia's body felt no discomfort. Looking at the grey sky above her, Yasenia peacefully felt the world's presence around her.

After the reunion, Xing Jimie changed her training regime. Or, more than changing, she completely voided it. Instead, she told Yasenia to stop cultivating and practicing for the next whole month.

This was a result of Xing Jimie's evaluation of Yasenia being too reckless and rushing forward too hastily. Yasenia was somewhat against it, but she followed her words.

"It is so… silent and calming."

Usually, when Yasenia rested in the past as she did now, there would be some chirping and sounds of other animals around. Here, in a place dominated by Death Energies, such things were rare to hear at all. Not that Yasenia minded. The sounds of nature and pure silence, or just the sound of the wind blowing, were both equally relaxing.

Her long dragon tail bounced up and down in wavy motions as she observed the horizon. Being near the top of a tall mountain, the view was truly spectacular. "Should I… take a nap?"

It was currently past noon, right after Yasenia had cooked and eaten a few dishes she had prepared. Patting her slightly bloated pregnant belly, Yasenia hummed peacefully. Her voice, strung into beautiful melodic notes, whispered around her, mixing with the wind.

As she hummed and caressed her belly, her facial expressions softened and turned gentle. Then, her soft voice echoed in a whisper, singing not for the world but for the life within her.

"My baby, my little sun~

When skies forget their hue,

I'll weave the world anew for you.

You are my love, be daughter or son~.

Sleep, my shining scale,

Let winds and whispers play~.

I'll make the stars and skies obey,

To preserve your laugh, none shall sway~..."

Yasenia's soft voice reached the maids in the surroundings, and they all couldn't help but feel emotional, their eyes tearing up a bit as they recalled their own parents.

The figure of the dragon mother singing for the life she nurtured left them breathless, and no one dared to move, unwilling to disturb the beautiful scenery of a mother singing to her unborn child.

As Yasenia hummed, her eyes gently closed, and she lay sideways on the grass, her tail curling around her figure as she pleasantly sang to the baby.

When a few minutes passed, her voice softened and slowed down, and eventually, with Heaven as her blanket and Earth as her mattress, the dragon fell into a peaceful sleep. Her soft breathing blended with the breeze, and her gorgeous figure lay gently on the soft ground.

Cai Xue and the others spread their energy very slowly and carefully to block part of the wind entering the grey and brown garden. They controlled it to the perfect point where it would caress Yasenia but not bother her.

Around an hour later, Cai Xue noticed that Xing Jimie was calling her for an urgent matter. However, before she could move, she noticed someone appearing in the middle of the garden.

Not her or any of the maids even felt how the woman appeared, startling them. The woman wearing a red royal dress looked around and placed her finger on her lips, making a shushing sound.

Of course, the maids remained silent, not because they wanted to obey, but because they felt that if they dared to even move a single finger, the red-haired woman would probably harvest their very souls. However, the woman didn't seem to want to have people on guard, so she transmitted a single communication to all of them.

'I am her mother. Do not be on guard, please.'

Hearing the word "please" from a being as powerful as this one was such a whiplash that it placed all the maids into a daze. Still, they chose to trust and therefore let their guard down, not because of anything in particular, but because of how careful she was being around Yasenia. If she wanted to do something evil, with her strength, it would be as easy as lifting a single finger.

Seeing their attitudes, Tatyana slowly breathed a sigh of relief and looked down at the sleeping woman. When she saw her, her heart almost burst with emotion. She wanted nothing more than to hug her tightly and kiss her until they were breathless.

Still, she used her unbending willpower to push down those desires for a little longer. Instead, she approached Yasenia gently and slowly changed her robes to comfortable black robes.

Inside Yasenia's Solar System Dantian, Draheart, Dramel, and Soluna were all pressuring Sui Xing while quickly explaining who Tatyana was. The man almost woke Yasenia forcefully when Tatyana arrived, startled by the sudden appearance of such a powerful being.

Outside, Tatyana moved Yasenia's sleeping body very slowly, carefully placing her head on her soft thighs. Seemingly recognizing her by scent and presence, the sleeping dragon moved by herself, hugging Tatyana's waist and burying her face in her navel.

Seeing her move like that made Tatyana's eyes soften to the point that honey almost dripped from them. "My Little Treasure, my baby~."

Yasenia snorted once happily when hearing Tatyana's call, but she continued sleeping peacefully. Even then, her tail wagged lazily up and down, clearly delighted.

At the edge created by the maids, Xing Jimie and the other elders were all gathered, looking on with stunned expressions. They had clearly heard Tatyana's mutter, sending an extreme shock through them.

Xing Jimie, especially, felt as if Heavenly Tribulation Lightning struck her brain. '...Baby? Yasenia is Lady Death Empress' daughter!?'

Her current feelings could be summed up in an almost unstoppable desire to slap her own face and bash her forehead against a column.

Of course, whatever happened around them was irrelevant to the two women in the middle.

Tatyana's hand slowly and carefully passed through Yasenia's thick, black hair. Her fingers caressed her scalp and then moved down, slowly straightening the beautiful threads, which were darker than a moonless and starless night.

Her red eyes, which were usually stained with a terrifying chill, had no trace of any negative emotion. As she caressed Yasenia's hair, Tatyana slowly and eagerly traced each contour of Yasenia's gorgeous face.

With a single finger and using a feather-light touch, she traced Yasenia's clean forehead, then slowly went down and moved through her gorgeous straight eyebrows. With that same finger, she gently touched the long and curved eyelashes, a ticklish feeling transmitting through her finger.

With her scent enveloping Yasenia, the dragoness felt safe and peaceful, so light touches didn't bother her sleep. She knew deep in her soul that she was the safest in her mom's embrace.

Tatyana didn't stop, and her fingers continued moving down, tracing her shapely nose, and tenderly reaching for the beautiful and creamy lips of the dragon woman. She didn't bother her lips much, brushing past them.

After she outlined her jaw, Tatyana moved down her neck and placed her hand there, using her thumb to lovingly caress Yasenia's cheek. "You are so beautiful, love. The most beautiful."

Yasenia began purring, her face slowly rubbing against Tatyana's stomach as her nose twitched and sniffed her scent. The purr was deep and vibrating, transmitting the vibrations through Tatyana's legs. Clearly, the dragoness was happily dreaming of Tatayna.

Meanwhile, as stated, Yasenia was happily dreaming of Tatyana and was reluctant to wake up. The dream was not lucid, so time passed by quickly, reaching the time before dusk.

With the Sun on the horizon, Yasenia's eyelashes began trembling slowly. Dazed from the deep and comfortable sleep her mother's embrace allowed her to have, she opened her misty eyes, revealing not the silver, but her gorgeous, sun-like, warm golden slit eyes.

Her sluggish eyes distinguished a black robe and an extremely pleasant scent, so she rubbed her face against it in a daze. Her throat purred even louder in comfort, and her tail wagged quickly, creating tapping sounds as it hit the ground.

Then, her ears detected a very light and pleasant laugh. The voice of this laugh was extremely familiar, making her move back a bit and look up dazedly.

Looking up, her gaze was filled with the figure of the most beautiful woman Yasenia had ever seen. The woman, wearing a light black robe that accentuated her proportions, revealed a perfect outline of the female body.

Her skin, enveloped in an otherworldly shimmer, was so pliant and tender that Yasenia thought that if she pinched, she might squeeze water. Her dazed golden slit eyes moved further up, following the gorgeous neck of the woman, and finally taking in her breathless countenance.

A dark veil of hair cascaded down like a waterfall, covering the edges of the smiling expression, looking down at her. The most impactful trait, that pair of ruby-colored eyes, swirling with endless love and affection, far too different from her usual expression.

The woman's elegance was impossible to miss, even when she showed a tender expression.

Yasenia blinked twice, feeling that she was still dreaming. However, the woman's smiling lips slowly opened, a voice that she had wished to hear for decades gently trickling down her ear and into her eardrums. "Good afternoon, Little Treasure. I missed you dearly."

No complicated words, just pouring out her pure emotions into the being she had wished to reunite with for over a century.

Yasenia's brain flickered, finally registering that the woman before her was not part of her dream. Her golden eyes widened for a second before her emotions overflowed and her eyes watered. "Mom!"

She rushed up and wrapped her arms around Tatyana's neck, pressing her lips against hers and closing her eyes in emotion. Two pearl-like tears slid down her cheeks as she kissed Tatyana and hugged her as tightly as she could. "Mom… Mom…"

Tatyana hugged Yasenia back, delighted that Yasenia captured her lips.

Both of them opened their mouths, and Yasenia's long dragon tongue greedily invaded Tatyana's mouth. Their saliva mixed, their arms tracing each other's bodies as if trying to mark each patch of skin with their touch. There was no rush, only deep passion that pushed them to merge together and share their love.

With the sun setting in the distance, a kiss resembling their first began anew, their bodies intertwining as deeply as their lengthening shadows.
