In one of the demonic continents, in a mountain range near the central area, a large sect extended, covering most of those peaks. This sect was one of the strongest on this continent, called Crimson Lotus Hall.
The primary cultivation methods of this sect were either massacre or cauldron cultivation. Cauldron didn't refer to the item, though. They would take people with strong constitutions and slowly refine them through various methods, transforming them into nourishment.
The method of refining varied greatly. Some were fed medical pills, changing their body and eventually transforming their Dantian into something ripe for consumption. Others used forced Dual Cultivation, absorbing Yin or Yang through mixing bodies. In contrast, others would absorb the vitality through soul-stealing or life-stealing techniques.
In short, the methods were as endless as one's imagination, a few becoming main paths with relatively guaranteed success.
Naturally, not everyone used these demonic paths. Some ended up in these sects against their will and practiced proper cultivation. Nevertheless, being part of the Crimson Lotus Hall meant that they would eventually die in their colors.
Right at that moment, in the main hall, two Law Creator elders were gathered with the others, holding solemn expressions. "...And that's what happened. We should be extremely careful going forward. I don't believe that the Dragon Hunters are happy, nor is that woman."
The Sect Master was a Level 3 Law Creator, one of the most powerful beings on the continent. Few could rival his strength. Right now, that man was showing a malevolent expression, his eyes filled with bloodlust and anger. "You lot got swayed by that boy's whining, and now you've placed us in this absolute mess!? Where is your self-respect as a Law Creator!? Have you lived for over a hundred thousand years to ignore all the signals that were screaming that it was a bad idea?"
The two elders quickly kneeled, their faces pale with fright. The reason they agreed in the first place was the person who died! That elder was part of the junior's family, so it put pressure on the rest. Moreover, he insisted that the dragon didn't have any background and that, even if she had any, it would not be able to suppress one of the strongest clans in the world, the Dragon Hunting Clan.
So, with that in mind, there was nothing wrong with doing as he said. Worst-case scenario, they would be stopped and return.
Who knew that they would encounter a crazy woman who would kill a Demigod in just a few hours of fighting?
The Sect Leader stood up and spoke with a low and threatening voice. "If that woman comes, I'll throw you under her feet. You two had better kneel and lick her toes, trying to convince her to forgive you if you want to live. Morons!"
With a wave of his sleeve, the Sect Master left and appeared in front of the Mo Family residence. "Gather everyone in the main room right in this instant!"
Without bothering with the guards, the Crimson Lotus Hall Sect Master stepped into the Mo Family's location. His shout startled everyone, and half an hour later, not a single person was missing.
The Sect Master sat on the seat of honor, looking at everyone and quickly spotting the culprits. "Very good, Mo Family. You lot have raised magnificent descendants who are blinded by their lust! As Demonic Cultivators, lust is our tool and serves us, not the other way around. Yet, one of your children has become a calamity for our sect after lusting for someone he shouldn't."
The elders were sweating buckets. After all, no one becomes the Sect Master of a Demonic Sect by being a saint. The number of families this Sect Master has exterminated in his path to supremacy is too many to count!
Everyone glanced at each other, unsure of whom the Sect Master was speaking about. However, the man with an indifferent expression was not moving, as if waiting.
The elders were quick-witted, and one of them took the lead, slamming the armrest. "Who is this unfilial child!? Step up now, because if we need to find you and drag you out, your end won't end as a simple punishment!"
Mo Xun, the mortal cultivator who had instigated all of this, was about to pass out from fear. He had never intended nor thought that his momentary greed for beauty would develop in this direction. 'Do I come out? Won't I be killed if I do?'
As he raised his lowered head slightly, he noticed that the Sect Master was looking in his direction, unmoving. 'H-He knows!'
The Sect Master knew who it was not because he was told, but because among all the juniors, Mo Xun was the only one who was trembling like a scared animal.
The elders paying attention were quick to notice as well. The leader of the Mo Family, a handsome middle-aged man with dark red eyes and brown hair, was stupefied when all gazes fell on his grandson.
"Mo Xun… you…"
While he had pampered this grandson of his, he never in his wildest dreams thought he would commit such a mistake someday.
The Sect Master sneered. "Still not stepping up after you've been discovered?"
One of the elders, who had some resentment toward the part of the family leading the place, would not lose a chance to see a talented junior of theirs condemned. "Mo Xun, you unfilial child, come here!"
An irresistible force dragged Mo Xun forward, slamming him in the middle of the room. The Sect Master was about to speak when his face changed drastically.
The dreadful sound of a ceiling being ripped apart reached everyone, revealing the sky above them. There, two gargantuan evil dragons hovered midair, their massive wings flapping slowly.
Then, from the sky, four individuals descended like immortals. Two women with world-toppling beauty led at the front, followed by a maid and an ominously armored individual.
They descended as if this place was their backyard, their feet making a very light tapping sound after they landed. Most of the junior generation were stunned in place, their brains short-circuiting at the sight of Yasenia's endlessly seductive figure.
Tatyana curled her lips and spoke lightly. "Such a great show. Continue, I was enjoying it greatly."
"Are you Lady Death Empress?"
"That's me."
Tatyana smiled coldly, her mood still touched by the forceful use of her Heart Demons.
With that answer, the Sect Master spoke and pointed. "As you've heard, everything is this bastard's fault. Kill him, torture him, do as you please. I won't interfere."
Tatyana snorted. "Do you think that a mortal will serve as a scapegoat? If I were not intending to deal with everything swiftly, your sect would've been destroyed until no stone was left unturned." She squinted and spoke. "I want Mo Xun, I want his whole family line, and I want the elders and other juniors that were involved with this. Once I get rid of everyone related to this event, I will leave."
The Crimson Lotus Hall's Sect Master couldn't hesitate, so he didn't. Even if this would reduce the sect's strength by a relatively large chunk, that didn't mean that he couldn't make up for the loss later.
As long as the sect remained, people were able to be replenished with enough time. So, he waved his hand indifferently. "Go ahead. Do as you please. Just, I ask Lady Death Empress to not damage the sect too much."
Tatyana's cold face gained a faint smile. "This is why I like discussing things with Sect Masters of Demonic forces over those of a righteous one. Ruthless and decisive. Truly great qualities."
"W-Wait! Senior, please, I ask for mercy!"
The person who stepped forward was Mo Xun's mother. She quickly kneeled in front of Yasenia and Tatyana, rambling about mercy and other things.
It wasn't Tatyana but Yasenia who stepped forward. Her eyes, though, lacked even the slightest hint of warmth they usually carried. "You are his mother?"
The crying woman raised her head, only to meet two incredibly cold, golden slit eyes. "Y-You—"
SPLAT!
Yasenia's tail lashed ruthlessly, exploding the woman's upper torso like some sort of gruesome sack of meat. "If your child would've captured me and I begged you, would you have scolded him, or told me to stay down like a good slave?"
Of course, no one could answer, as the woman was already a corpse.
"MOTHER!" Mo Xun shouted, his face twisting with rage. Yasenia turned to look at him and snorted. "You are going to be last, so be good and stay put."
Her tail lashed again, and the force behind it completely ripped off Mo Xun's four limbs from his torso. "AHHH!!!"
Ignoring his scream, Yasenia turned toward the Sect Master and asked. "Who are his family members?"
The Sect Master didn't bother hiding it and waved his hand, marking everyone of the lineage with a red light.
And so, a massacre began. Yasenia unsheathed Draheart and began dancing around the hall packed with people, her sword accurately slicing everyone marked with a red light.
Tatyana's aura bound those who were too strong for her to deal with, so the whole event passed on without a single setback.
After finishing off the last one from Mo Xun's lineage, Yasenia returned to Tatyana's side and stored Draheart away. While the sword was currently evolving, that didn't mean that she couldn't use it at all. The only thing that Draheart couldn't do at the moment was transform into different shapes. Not that it mattered much, as Yasenia was the most proficient when fighting with the taller-than-her giant sword.
Tatyana nodded, satisfied. 'Great. Her ruthlessness is still there.'
"Alright, let's move on. There is the Yan family as well, isn't there?"
Yasenia nodded while Tatyana waved her hand, activating her [Death Law]. All the people too strong for Yasenia to kill instantly perished, as if that was the moment predestined for them to die.
No sound, no scream, just pure death.
For the rest of the day, Tatyana and Yasenia strolled through the Crimson Lotus Hall Sect, killing everyone who had been even the slightest bit involved in the matter of the Dragon Hunters.
"And with this, everyone except you is dead, Mo Xun."
The human man with no limbs was staring blankly ahead of him, his pupils dilated and unmoving. Yasenia saw it and raised her eyebrow. "Have you gone crazy?" Her fingers dug into his chest, cracking one of his ribs and pulling it out violently.
The body only twitched a few times. "Oh. You really broke mentally. Well, if that's the case, then die. Sarah, Alyssa, devour all that I've killed today."
From her shadow, the two undead swept out like hungry specters, devouring every single dead person in the area. Those in the Seventh Realms were taken by Tatyana, using them to nourish Hakkan a bit more so that it could be used at full capacity later if needed.
The Sect Master saw them mount and leave, and let out a sigh. 'Finally, those two madwomen have left. I hope that this becomes a lesson. I don't care if they want to do evil, but at least they should be aware of whom they do evil against.'
What happened in the Crimson Lotus Sect quickly spread out, reaching many major superpowers. Now, almost everyone in the higher ranks knew who to avoid offending.
