Half an hour later, the car arrived at the underground parking lot of Nancy Sutton's neighborhood. Liam Quincy gently nudged the resting Nancy on the passenger seat, reminding her.
"We're here. Do you want me to help you get out of the car?"
Nancy was a bit absent-minded, her eyes dazed, just staring at Liam, unable to say anything for a long time.
Liam, being a man, couldn't help but swallow when looked at like that.
"What's wrong?"
Nancy finally came to her senses, her voice low, saying.
"No, not here!"
Liam was somewhat puzzled, looking at Nancy for answers.
"What's wrong?"
Nancy managed to form a sentence in her mind and said.
"Don't go to my place, I'm afraid that in my current state, it might scare the children."
Liam understood and, after a moment of thought, suggested.
"How about going to my place? I have a guest room."
Nancy didn't have the time to think, responding casually.
"Anything is fine."
