Chapter 57 - Chapter 57: Dawn

Aaron Kendrick paused, not answering Liam Quincy's question directly, and instead began recounting a story from the past.

"I was kidnapped when I was little because of my father's negligence."

"Why my father spoiled me, it's all because he felt guilty for this."

"I'm getting off-topic. Those traffickers were caught after being reported and put behind bars; they locked me in a warehouse during that time."

"It was pitch black everywhere; I screamed desperately, but no one responded."

"Just when I was about to give up hope, the door opened, and someone walked in."

As Aaron Kendrick reached this point, he seemed to be lost in some beautiful memory; a slight smile appeared on his face, and his eyes softened.

He looked very excited, but to outsiders, he seemed somewhat eerie.

"She rescued me, pulled me out of the abyss; it was the first time I realized the world was full of color."

"She was a police officer, very pretty, much like Nancy."
