Nancy: "Can you have a waitress follow Sean? I'm worried she'll get into trouble if she drinks again."
Liam Quincy agreed readily, immediately phoning the bar owner, and after a few words, he hung up.
"All done, you don't have to worry now."
Nancy let out a long breath, leaned back against the car seat, adjusted her posture, and closed her eyes to rest; today had been too exciting.
When Nancy fell asleep, the car stopped at a traffic light. As the red light shone, Liam Quincy turned his head and looked at Nancy deeply,
then gently took a jacket from the back seat and draped it over her.
He also remembered to turn up the air conditioning, afraid that Nancy might get cold. Once he was done, the light turned green.
Liam Quincy sighed with a bit of regret, then started the car and drove off.
When they reached the parking lot of the apartment complex, Nancy was still fast asleep. Liam Quincy fondly sighed and gently nudged her shoulder.
