"Uncle, did you come here on purpose to find Mom?"
Bianca Sutton felt a bit bored. He had played in the sand for a while and found these activities somewhat childish. Although it's fun to stomp around, such games get dull quickly.
So he shifted his attention to Alvin Hughes again, hoping to get some words out of him.
Alvin Hughes didn't take the child seriously. He understood that Bianca Sutton was always a sly kid; if he were to speak his mind, the boy would surely badmouth him later.
"I just happened to run into you guys. Didn't we meet at the hotel? Why are you suddenly asking me such a question?"
He put on a puzzled look, as if he didn't understand why Bianca Sutton was talking to him like this.
However, Bianca Sutton was still a child. Although a bit crafty, he wasn't all that scheming.
Nancy Sutton felt a bit guilty watching them getting along so well. After all, she had just handed the kids over to Alvin Hughes, which seemed a bit unreasonable.
