Ains·Southwest District
The cold wind of the early morning blew through the somewhat ancient streets. The rain had gradually stopped, leaving only a few lonely pedestrians on the wide road.
On the street and in the alleys, the old tents had their zippers pulled up.
The cold wind blew across the wet, old tents, producing a slight rustling sound, so clear in the dim night.
Of course, not everyone had their own tents. Some people sat at the edge of the street and the alleys, in places barely sheltered from the rain, wrapped in thick coats, leaning against the wall, barely asleep.
In front of these people, vendors still had their stalls lit up.
"Yo, old man, still awake?"
A rapidly driving vehicle sped past the street, splashing up mud, as a young man approached an elderly clothing vendor, chuckling, "It's time to pay up."
"Didn't I just pay yesterday?" The elderly man's face showed surprise, and he couldn't help but retort.
