"Why have it if you don't want it?"
"Excuse me?"
"Huh?"
Lilly Rose looked at Tiffany's eyes widening in confusion, staring at her.
She tilted her head to the side, brows furrowing, doubting the words that she heard came out of Tiffany's mouth.
"Are you saying something?"
Lilly Rose furrowed her brows and shook her head. She must be so tired that she's hearing things.
"What are you doing here tonight?"
"I came from work…uhm, decided not to go home because I have something to finish early tomorrow morning."
Lilly Rose didn't know why she lied to Tiffany but it felt right.
"Work? You?!" Tiffany asked, laughing.
"Why? You don't see me working? I guess I was such a brat when we were in high school. you think that me, rendering a job is something unbelievable and quite funny."
She could just let Tiffany's reaction slide. She knew her attitude but she had no idea why tonight, she could not just shrug off Tiffany's attitude as being Tiffany.
