Chapter 259 - Keep your promise

( Anna's POV)

My throat went dry and I woke up to drink water. My gaze fell on Alex's empty side. I quickly stood up and walked toward his side of the bed as I touched the sheets. It was cold. He must have gone out to do something without telling me.

" You are such a liar, Alex. I will make sure you regret it." I said to myself. He promised me just a few hours ago that he won't keep things from me but now he went alone in the middle of the night.

I went back to bed and lay down again. This time I won't sit silently and wait for Alex to tell me where he went. He must answer my questions. I drifted back to sleep after twisting and turning for a few hours.

Morning came soon as I woke up hearing Alan's cry. I woke up to see Alan crying beside me, throwing his hands and legs. I looked out of the window. The sun hasn't risen yet. It must have been around 4 o'clock. I picked up Alan and cuddled him in my arms as I yawned. I only got two hours of sleep the whole night!
