According to Haiz, the monsters he saw were of different types, and they normally weren't supposed to be that strong, as these were monsters they all knew of, but it seemed their strength had been boosted beyond its limit, far above what the usual adventurer or soldier could handle.
Hearing this, Druck was quite troubled, as he knew just how strong the Gnubes he faced were, and if it wasn't for Aaron, when the stronger ones got there, he would have not been able to do much, maybe he would have died in that place. The main problem before them wasn't just the monsters' strength, but their number, and the fact that they actually ganged up together.
