Today's Daily Quest came to an end, and a couple hours passed. It is 2PM now, and the afternoon has started. Returning back inside the villa, I was sweaty. I immediately headed upstairs to take a bath. And let me tell you, it is great that these games adopted the eastern culture of cleanliness. Every typical home or apartment you'd come across in Japan had a bath where you could run some water and dip into it. It was a part of their culture, unlike others.
And I hear in Daybreak, this adopts a more western culture, bringing in showers and such. Showers do exist now, just more scarce. We do have a shower or two inside this villa, but there were more baths than showers.

'Neat.', I thought, smiling as I came out of the bathroom that connected to my room, feeling fully refreshed. This was a little feature I had gotten used to. Similar to how the main character in A Gamer does when he restores his full health upon a full night's sleep, I get to do the same either by sleeping, or by taking a refreshing dip like this.
You see in Trails, there's Healing Spots placed every so often inside Dungeons. One is colored blue, and later on the games, one is colored yellow. The yellow one is basically a portable Orbal Factory and a Weapons Shop built in one. You could even buy restoration items and exchange Sepith into Mira or refine them into Quartz in these Healing Spots. They took this particular function so far that in Reverie, it was enhanced into what's called the Blazing Forge, allowing you to customize literally any character you want. It even had a built-in gacha system that you could grind points for while dungeon diving!
I don't know if I'll ever get to experience a function like that. It is nice to see that it is treating this the same as a Healing Spot. All of yesterday's stress was long gone, but I knew it'll soon be replaced when we depart later. It's no use having butterflies in your stomach if you know what is to come. In fact, I was actually excited that I'm already heading back to Heimdallr.
My previous visit was very short, and I only met a couple of influential figures inside the military before we left for Heimdallr Airport. This time, we'll be staying at least one day inside the big capital city. It has many, many streets. Last time was just a visit to Alto Street. I'm sure we'll be able to visit Vainqueur Street and Dreichels Plaza this time.
Growing excited, I put on my plain outfit. I'll have Mother help me put on my Phoenix Robe in a bit. Kasia helped draw the bath for me and called me over when it was ready to be used. Making sure I was settled, I had the bath on my own. I've started doing that, but Kasia would still check in on me every so often. And now that the bath ended, I walked out of my room, feeling fully energized. The sweaty feeling from running those ten kilometers before this was long gone.
I didn't immediately head down to the first floor where Mother was likely waiting to help me put on the Phoenix Robe again. Cupping my chin with one of my hands, I tilted my head a bit.
"I should have a few minutes to review my Status, right? Knowing that I'm going to meet with His Imperial Majesty and potential other nobles, I should be ready. I don't think I can wait any longer to see the changes from yesterday.", I said to myself.
Concluding that, I activated the Gamer System. A large blue holographic panel didn't appear inside my mind this time. I was alone in the hallway, so I willed my Status Window to appear before me. It's not like other people could see this anyway. Not until they join the Party, which isn't a function I have unlocked yet. And sure enough, my Stats greatly improved. One thing in particular was my EP. Seriously, receiving EP Boost I from Vermillion Eyes is such a boon. I can see my EP being insanely high once my Levels start to soar.
