Chu Mu did not dwell further on the inexplicable matter of lineage, nor did he believe the claims about Liu Binglan being one of the higher-ranked Totem Believer Women.
Many matters don't necessarily require answers. At least from Chu Mu's perspective, even if someone told Liu Binglan she was a divine being manifested, her reaction would likely be an indifferent "Oh" before calmly continuing with whatever she was doing.
Since she had not grown up in the Heavenly Palace but faced everything in the New Moon Land, this unfamiliar Heavenly Palace might very well mean nothing to her. She might not necessarily wish to uncover this answer at all. And even if the answer were found, what would change? Would she truly seek to establish family bonds with a completely unfamiliar person?
At least for Chu Mu, he would not acknowledge someone like this grandmother whom he had never met. Without having shared life together, even blood ties wouldn't make them much different from strangers.
