Since Daimon and those two won't be going anywhere for the next few hours, let's change our point of view to outside of the cave, which in comparison with the calm and silent atmosphere that the rune shark had created for Daimon and the others to sleep, there was a commotion going on here.
Everything started a moment ago, just a few seconds after the rune shark had set up that isolation barrier inside the cave, the originally cloud-less sky of the Blood Prison realm suddenly had pitch black clouds appear and cover a large extension of it, further diminishing the illumination that the red sun radiated.
What followed were large black distortions appearing all over the place, out of which blood specters which Daimon had never seen before, manifested.
For starters, all of them were peak Arch rank blood specters, besides that their common and probably most noticeable characteristic is that their bodies were pitch black, instead of red translucent colored.
