She just couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her connection with the Energy of Chaos was restored; however, this did her more harm than good.
Sharnoth had the Body of Chaos. It was incomplete, sure, but her very being represented Chaos. However, the Dark Spell she used was connected to the Power of Darkness—an Energy different from Chaos.
She could use it when her connection with Chaos was cut off; however, now that that connection was restored, the Energy of Chaos and the lingering Energy of Darkness clashed against each other inside her body.
And the result?
