Seeing Li Xi tossing and turning in excitement, unable to sleep, it was clear he didn't exhaust much physical strength.
Lu Ren thought for a moment and replied, "Actually, I don't quite believe it."
"Then why did you still come over?"
Li Xi was intensely curious, not believing yet he came along.
Lu Ren calmly said, "When you find a path that can take you further, although it might lead to nothing, it's a necessary part of moving forward."
He looked at Li Xi, "Everything progresses in a spiraling ascent, you should understand this."
Li Xi didn't quite get it, but seeing Lu Ren obviously had no interest in continuing the conversation, he dared not disturb him more, and so he burrowed into his sleeping bag to rest.
It wasn't until midday the next day that the wind and snow began to cease, and under the bright sunshine, they watched as the transport plane flew over their heads, finally waiting for the airdropped supplies.
