Li Qing felt somewhat uncomfortable in his heart; what did it mean to be regarded this way by an animal, even if he was more ordinary, he was still a person.
Stepping forward for a look, he unexpectedly saw the owl holding a roll of brown paper tied with a black ribbon bow.
Li Qing was momentarily dumbfounded, only to carefully push open the window all at once after confirming that the other side simply wanted to give him the brown paper roll it was holding.
Flap flap flap flap!!
He forgot that the window of his place opened outward, watching as the owl kept flapping its wings, crying out as it fell downward.
"Hoot~~ hoot~~~ hoot~~"
Quickly reacting, Li Qing caught the brown paper roll and then leaned forward with his head to look down.
It was already late at night, below was pitch-black except for a few distant streetlights flickering dimly; he didn't see any sign of the owl.
If not for the brown paper roll in his hand, Li Qing would have thought all of this was an illusion.
