The owner of Tangshi Xuan gathered all the employees of the restaurant.

There were five in the kitchen, and seven more at the front, including the cashier, waitstaff, and cleaners.

A small Chinese restaurant that actually had twelve employees, yet the business had not been good. How could it sustain so many people?

Facing the inquisitive gaze of the cameraman and Little Taotie, the owner sighed: "You may not know, but initially, the neighboring spaces on both sides were all part of this restaurant. It was due to poor management later on that I had walls built, splitting one restaurant into three separate businesses."

"But initially, the large space warranted the hiring of twelve employees, and they didn't do anything wrong. I had no reason to let them go, no reason for layoffs. Plus, the rent from the two adjacent rented-out spaces just covered their wages, so there was no real loss, and that's how we've maintained until now."
