Somewhere in a forest shrouded in fog all year round a young boy can be seen lying under an enormous tree. This tree is so huge that even Mount Everest would seem small in comparison. The boy who is under this tree can be seen with multiple wounds all over his body. In the distance you could hear the roars and crys of multiple different creatures. It seemed as if they were upset that they could not go forward and eat the boy at the base of the tree. There seemed to be a mysterious force preventing them from getting within 400 meters of this tree.
"what where am I?" Opening his eyes the boy sat up against the tree while looking around at his surroundings noticing the enormous tree behind him.
"Wasn't I hit by a truck, why am I in the woods? and what is with this freaking huge ass tree!!? wait something doesnt feel right with my body." realizing that something was wrong Ryujin looked at his body. He noticed that his body was smaller than before and that he had numerous wounds that seemed to be healing at a rapid pace. It looked as if someone hit the fast forward button on them. within a few moments all of his wounds had completely healed. Just as he was about to get up and continue trying to make sense of things Ryujin was stuck with an intense amount of pain originating from his cranium.
"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Ryujin let out an intense roar in agony. Flashes of memories kept popping up in his mind replaying scenes, a life of a person he had never seen before.

Today was Ryujin's 10th birthday as well as the day he would be taken to the Ranker Association to have his first awakening. At the age of 10 every human would be required to undergo awakening.
It was unlike in the past where humans awakened at random ages, and some before they were even 10 years of age. It is now deemed illegal to awaken before you turn 10 years of age. This is due to the large amounts of research put into studying the awakening of superhuman abilities. After years of research scientists discovered that those who undergo awakening before the age of 10 had a high risk of becoming unstable. Side effects of such awakenings could range from having sociopathic tendencies, split personalities, loss of lifespan, or developing unwanted habits. So scientists researched a way to suppress the awakening process. This research lead to the breakthrough of medicine that inhibits someone from awakening and being able to induce awakening at the age of 10. Now there are still some instances of early onset awakening but that is rare, aswell as instances where some people would force awaken kids at an earlier age believing that the earlier they awaken the better it is for thier potential. Not everyone believes in medical science.
"Hurry up your going to be late, the car is outside waiting for us. How much longer are you going to sleep?." a deep and commanding voice could be heard from the outside of Ryujin's room.
This voice came from Ryujin's father Tiger Grace. Ryujin was born in the Grace family, this family was a famous family of Rankers. This family is known for producing powerful Rankers throughout the years and their bloodline can be traced back to one of the First heroes of the New Federation. This family can be considered nobles of the Federation Alliance, and is highly respected and has deep, pockets. Tiger Grace was known as the immovable mountain. Unlike his siblings He was born with only one superpower, the S ranked superpower [Solid Earth] all of his attributes would be multiplied 10 times over as long as he was on solid ground.
Getting up from his bed Ryujin walked over to his closet, grabbing a set of clothes he then headed over to the bathroom and changed out of his pajamas. Finished changing he opened the door to his room and left heading downstairs.
"I'm ready to go father, I was just changing when you called out to me". Ryujin said as he made it down the grandstair case that opened up to an even grander foyer space.
"Good let's go, the grace family has high expectations for you".
"Yes father" Ryujin replied with abarely an audible voice as he followed his father to the black luxury sedan.
