"Humans commit sins. Sinning and continuing to live, that is the essence of human existence." The headmaster mumbled to himself in a sad tone, looking outside the window while the two of us sat on the chairs on the other side, looking at him with concerned looks.
"Does the same apply to me as well, children?" We had been here for a while now, but those were the first things he had spoken in a while.
And, truthfully… I do not know what the hell this old man is going on about!
"Is my weakness a sin? I have failed to carry out my duty well. I have failed to do what the headmaster is supposed to do…" His voice wasn't usual either.
To make things worse, from what I could see with my eyes, I could tell he wasn't even joking or anything.
He was actually sad right now. He was blaming himself for something very ridiculous-.
