"Tom, I heard you're pursuing a girl? Using two identities to get close to her?"
On the other end of the call, Andrew King glanced at Vinny Hawke sitting beside him, put on the speakerphone, and asked directly without beating around the bush.
"Yes."
Damon Hawke did not deny it.
"Why did you fall for a woman with a child? Is it because she looks like Evelyn Miles? Tom, I know you're very persistent when it comes to emotions, but deceiving someone with a false identity and playing with their feelings is wrong. That's not the behavior of a responsible man."
Andrew King spoke calmly, glancing at Vinny Hawke, with a hint of helplessness on his face.
This wasn't a question he wanted to ask; someone was forcing him to do so.
And he couldn't say no to her!
"Master, did my sister tell you this?"
Damon Hawke pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling a bit fatigued.
"Yes!"
Andrew King responded, "Tom, your sister has done a lot for you; don't make her sad and disappointed."
