Hearing Cole Hawke's words, Elara Don tightened her grip on her chopsticks.
"I won't let Damon Hawke know that I'm Charlie's biological mother; I have nothing to do with him."
He can be with whoever he wants.

Cole Hawke's eyes flickered slightly, "My uncle is a favored son of heaven. Although my aunt can be a bit willful, if she knew you were Charlie's biological mother, I'm sure you could gain status through your son."
Gain status through her son?
So, she has to rely on her son to improve her standing?
She doesn't care for it!
Suppressing her emotions, Elara Don said, "I never thought about marrying Damon Hawke, nor did I ever want to live the life of a wealthy lady. I just want to be with my two sons."
