A sudden pain in her waist made Eleanor Shaw cry out in agony.

"Xiaoya."

Gabriel Miles was startled and rushed forward to support her.

He glanced at Evelyn Miles, scolding, "Samantha, she's your mother, not an enemy! How could you treat her like this?"

Evelyn glared at him, "To me, the two of you are worse than enemies now. Everything I have now is thanks to you, and I hate you both!"

Having said that, she started frantically smashing things in the house.

Gabriel frowned deeply and quickly signaled the servants to stop her.

With great difficulty, the servants restrained Evelyn and brought her back to her bedroom.

After Gabriel fed Evelyn her medicine and settled her down, he was so exhausted he was gasping for breath.

Eleanor sat on the sofa, her eyes red as she rubbed her waist.

Gabriel felt a sudden wave of irritation without reason.

He sighed, walked over to her and sat down, helping to massage her waist.
