Chapter 1103 - Guard Duty

The slash continued its path, ripping through Triffid's towering wooden shields as though they were paper, each layer of bark and vine splintering apart with a shrieking sound, crushed beneath the overwhelming force of Arthur's 'Chaos'.

The reinforced walls of the massive tree buckled, cracked, and then gave way as the slash dug deeper, closing in on the Broodmother.

The Broodmother never stood a chance.

The blade cut clean through its body like a hot knife through butter, slicing the creature in two.

A scream filled with fury and pain echoed through the air, but it was short-lived, silenced almost immediately as the creature's body was split apart.

Its severed halves fell to the ground, only to disintegrate into dust upon impact. It was as if the Broodmother's very existence had been erased, consumed by the cosmic energy unleashed in Arthur's strike.

Yet even that wasn't the end.
