He stares at me like he's trying to assess if I'm telling the truth. And honestly, I'm relieved that we're not sharing the same bedroom. We may be married now but it doesn't mean that we have to be in each other's space all the time.
Without taking his eyes off me, he says, "There's a pen and paper in your left nightstand drawer. List down everything you need and I'll have someone get them for you."
I nod.
"I have somewhere to be tomorrow but Celia will take care of your meals. If you sleep in, she usually keeps it in the fridge. You can ask her if you need anything. If she's not in the kitchen, you can find her in her quarters. Enzo, the one who picked you up from the hotel, will be at the front door at all times. He's the only one allowed inside the house apart from Jax. Other guards are stationed outside. Do you have any questions?"
