The high elf Queen stood frozen for a moment, her cheeks tinted red from embarrassment.
"W-Well… we should at least go and celebrate our victory," she finally said, stumbling over her words.
Before I could respond, Myra stepped forward with that confident elegance of hers. "Then we'll celebrate it in my kingdom," she declared proudly.
The high elf Queen immediately hissed, "Why your kingdom? Shouldn't we celebrate victory in my kingdom? It would only be proper."
"Oh please," Myra shot back. "You're only saying that because you want the credit. I was the one who—"
"That's not—"
I raised my hand, stopping both of them before it escalated into another political argument. "We're celebrating in the dark elf kingdom."
Both queens turned to me.
I pointed at Myra. "She was the one who requested the vampire tribe's assistance. So she gets hosting rights."
Myra smiled proudly.
