After arriving at my class twenty minutes late, I stealthily sit down next to Jessica and inquire, "Where have you been?"
"It's a long story; I will tell you everything in detail after class,"
We both turn to face the Professor, and she nods.
Both of us stay in class to complete our work after our one-hour lesson.
"Hey, how about a sleepover this weekend?"
I force myself to turn on my laptop and reply, "Yeah, sure, that's a great idea."
"But where, though?" Jennie asks.
I say, "My place," with enthusiasm.
"Wait; will your roommate allow it ?"
"It's also my place, you know, so he has to agree," I respond.
"It's going to be so much fun; we can watch anime or movies and eat loads of popcorn." She repeatedly leaps out of her chair.
The door opens just as I'm trying to decide what to say to Jason about the sleepover. Would he concur? I recognized a strong, seductive voice.
"Have you seen Marie?" His voice was deep as he spoke.
