Elias slammed both feet down on the brakes but the car was moving too fast for it to stop so abruptly. The wheels skid against the hot asphalt, screeching as they drifted out of the control of the driver.
"Stop the fucking car!" Helen yelled.
Elias tugged the mask from his face and threw it out the window. He held on to the steering wheel so tight and tried turning it with so much force and effort that his knuckles were whitening, but the car had him whipped, he couldn't stop it.
"Don't you see that's what I'm trying?! I can't stop it!" he yelled back at her.
By now, Helen had already reverted to her own appearance but was consequently naked. Her face was red and twisted with anger and frustration; there was never a time she was this furious.
The order was to bring Amaira back alive, but the blonde pissed her off so much she wouldn't hesitate to snap her neck on sight! All this time, she was playing them, making a fool out of Helen who took great pride in being so very coy.
