The wolf pack that was encircling them right now was made up of primarily C-level wolves, but the alpha was an A-level one.

A fireball the size of a human head hit one of the wolves on Kate's right and exploded into smaller golf-sized ones that targeted the other pack members.
"how come they are so powerful?" Leo shouted while shooting arrow after arrow at their enemies.
"It's their alpha; it has a buff skill; I have already fought C-level monsters; they shouldn't be this powerful," Asue answered.
"Parisa, take over," Max ordered, and Paria switched with his sister without batting an eye, "Ryan, take aggro; others keep the pack busy; Parisa, Alex, and I will take care of the alpha…."
