Jin Cheng led them to approach the farm from the side. They avoided the main road. Thanks to the farming complex occupying a large area, it was impossible to monitor the entire perimeter of the complex.
The perimeter had only a simple fence to mark its territory. There were no words of power to prevent intruders. When the previous landlord was still alive, the methods employed to fend off intruders were the landlord's reputation and hired hands patrolling the perimeter. The farm still used the same methods. The difference was that instead of the landlord, it was now the bandits.
The side they are entering from was a field with tall grass. The grass had the height of a man's shoulder. By hunching down, they avoided sighting.
