When Aquarina's parents offered their daughter stay longer, she gently declined. As much as she loved her friends here, she couldn't bear being apart from Sylphy any longer.
"Oh, it's quite alright. I'm happy she'll finally reunite with her beloved," Agua said with a sweet smile. "And well, you're married, right?"
"Well... uh... I-I mean, we did the whole ritual for my tribe, so technically yes!" Aquarina nodded, blushing. "But not in Sylphy's tribe—or, um, society. Elven society does weddings differently. We'd have to go through a whole ceremony."
"Ah! Oooh, that's so lovely! I'm glad you'll see your wife again," Agua said, clearly supportive.
"Thanks... Hahaha... wife, huh?" Aquarina giggled, her cheeks glowing. Just hearing someone call Sylphy her wife filled her with joy. "Yeah... I miss my cute wife. Ah! Right—what about you and Quetzal?"
