"T-The princess, you say?!" the dwarves gasped when they heard Aquarina refer to me.
"Yes, it's me!" I said with a bright smile. "And Aquarina's my girlfriend—soon to be my wife officially. We'll get married in a year or two."
"O-Oooh?!"
"I-I see!"
They clearly weren't used to hearing a same-sex relationship spoken about so openly, but they didn't act rude about it either.
"A-Ah, please, go ahead, Lady Aquarina."
The dwarves nodded nervously and stepped aside. She waved at me and winked. "Alright, I'm going! Take care, Sylphy! See you at dinner!"
"Yeah, honey! Love you!" I called back, waving and blowing a kiss through the air.
As I watched her hurry toward the Dark Savanna Dungeon, I turned and headed downstairs. The air grew steadily colder with each step. Ignatius, Yggdra, and Alice materialized beside me, settling on my shoulders and head.
"Hm, so this is the path to that Glacial Dungeon or whatever it's called?" Ignatius asked.
"Yup, should be," I nodded.
