"Just what is this dragon? Is he a damn comedian?" I laughed while shaking my head, watching my father sigh deeply and cross his arms in resignation.
"He really hasn't changed one bit!" my mother said, a fond smile appearing on her face despite the tears still lingering in her eyes.
"Not at all, hah!" my father let out a small, reluctant laugh of his own, the tension in his shoulders easing just a little.
"He's really freaking insane, huh?" my brother wondered aloud, staring at the floating spirit with a mixture of respect and disbelief. "I never thought he'd joke about his own death like that…"
"If you can't laugh about yourself you can't really make people laugh. That's my motto," Flamie said cheerfully as he flew closer toward Ignatius. "Okay buddy… I think I'm ready."
"I don't know… what do we do?" Ignatius wondered, his ethereal form flickering with uncertainty.
