"Clarissa always finds an excuse to meet you alone. She spends more time with you than I do."
Alvin stared at the screen. A flicker of anger began to rise—not at Audia, but at the situation that had led him to this dangerous crossroad.
"So you had Andra spy on Clarissa?"
"I needed to be sure. I'm the mother of your children. I need clarity."

The next day, Alvin attended a shareholders meeting. Mr. Liu and two other clients requested that Clarissa be made the permanent head of design for Alaya Residences, and even be considered to lead the next project in South Jakarta.
But one board member interrupted, "We need to consider this carefully. There are reports of internal conflict and ethical violations within the design division. If this becomes a scandal, our reputation could suffer."
All eyes turned to Alvin. He nodded, carrying an immense weight on his shoulders.
After the meeting, he returned to his office. Clarissa was waiting with a curious expression.
