The Abyss Fleet and Base Number withdrew from Midgard Star together.
After they left, the Pope returned to the Temple and ordered the retreat of the fleet invading the O'Brian Republic.
In space, Base Number, Lin Shou appeared here.
"Thank you, sir," Xu Mo thanked Lin Shou.
"You should call me uncle," Lin Shou replied, looking at Xu Mo.
Xu Mo did not call him uncle, and Lin Shou didn't care. He smiled and said, "Do you want to know the outcome of my battle with the Pope just now?"
Xu Mo was taken aback, looking at him. Did they determine a winner?
"I lost," Lin Shou turned and sat on a chair, looking out of the starship. He spoke, "This Pope of the Church is stronger than I imagined, and he didn't want to fight desperately with us, so he agreed to a mutual retreat."
"Moreover, he even invited me to cooperate with him," Lin Shou looked at Xu Mo.
"Cooperate?" Xu Mo looked at Lin Shou. Earlier, the Pope mentioned cooperation with him as well.
