The familiar sea breeze blew over, and the book on Lu Ping'an's chest was once again blown away.
He couldn't be bothered to pick it up, turned to a different position, and continued to enjoy his seaside vacation.
Not far from him, at the usual seaside barbecue stand, the people were even more joyful.
In the courtyard, the high level members, demigods, Lu Ping'an's magic pets, some were swimming and playing in the sea, while others played ball games on the beach, indulging in various time-passing games.
But on the other side, it was a bloody and cruel battlefield.....

Lu Ping'an's fortress island was wedged within the Plane Gate; this side was the relatively safe and comfortable Mercury 42, while the other side was the endlessly raging Plane battlefield.
On that battlefield, there were Fishmen, Nagas, and a multitude of Sea Beasts.
