Shouyi's eyes widened a moment later, and she pulled back the tiny curtain while glancing back, saying, "Wait... Why are we in a horse cart?"
"That... Sly fox deceived me. Who is he that we should obey him?"
A little laughter squeezed out of Dongmei's mouth. Shouyi gave a chilling gaze and made her laughter return to her stomach. Shouyi's chilling look caused Dongmei's laughter to reappear after she forced a small amount of laughter from her mouth.
"How did you become acquainted with him?" He spoke to you as if he had known you for years." Her brows drooped.
"I, too, am perplexed; he is Madame Li's son," Dongmei replied in a single sentence, swallowing thousands of questions.
"Avoid people like him," Shouyi advised coldly.
"Why should I?" He is Madam Li's son, and he even came to my rescue. Since I will be living with Madam Li. I can't avoid him." Dongmei said, in the same tone as her mother, that it was the first time she had disobeyed her mother directly.
