Merlin's father was named after a shape of the moon. Crescent Moon was his full name and was a wizard but had not graduated or even attended any wizard schools.
He was tall short black hair with red eyes and he was in a trench coat.
Crescent- Valeria dear get me some sky wine
Valeria(aka Merlin's mom)- Yes Crescent
Merlin-So what are you doing home didn't you say you were going to be gone a few years?
Crescent- Look Merlin you just got accepted into a prestigious school I came to congratulate you.
Merlin can finally see it his fathers mana a red color just like Mercy's mana
Merlin- I can see you have a red mana
Crescent- Oh so you can see mana in just a week of going to this school very impressive.
My mana is crimson mana also known as blood mana it's a rare type of mana that's only been seen in a few people in my lifetime I've been the only person with this mana.
Merlin- oh really?
Merlin notices something different about his fathers mana it's much darker and actually reeks of blood. Merlin can actually smell this mana.
Merlin- my friend has red mana too dad
Crescent- Really? Well that's not something you here every day. Just keep in mind your friends mana can only fully be awakened by experiencing hell.
Merlin- what do you mean dad?
Crescent- you'll get it in time. Clearly he's a boy born with a curse.
Merlin- can you tell me anything about my mana?
Crescent- your mana? Oh yeah I forgot I never seen your mana it's really good at hiding itself maybe it's dark grey mana they call that shadow mana boy.
Merlin- no it's not here I'll show you it
Merlin releases a small amount retaining around his body his galaxy like mana flows around him.
Crescent- I.. I've never seen mana like this before. What kind of mana do you have? It's very unique you're using all of it right now?
Merlin- no I'm only releasing a small amount

Valeria- here is your wine dear
Crescent- thank you val. I'll be heading out now Merlin make sure not too many people see this mana of yours although it is really good at hiding itself. (Not even my eyes could see it what a strange dangerous mana)

Merlin- bye dad
A few days later and school was back but this time dorms had been set up in the castle like school for the students and Merlin had to say goodbye for the semester to his mother.
Merlin- Bye mom see you during Christmas!
Valoria- GOODBYE SWEET HEART STAY SAFE AND WARM AND COMFORTABLE.
She said this crying on the floor.
Merlin unpacked his room he had a lamp that small stars flowed through. A nice sized bed with white pillows and stars on his blanket a mini fridge and drinks on the interior like sea tea and space milk. Dressers made of darker woods and a radio with. He had a clock with a bird that would pop out waking him up for school. He put his wand away he no longer planned on using it. And finally left his dorm to go to class.
Guvo- today we'll be learning about curses or the more scientific term Cryptic magic.
Mercy- finally something I'm interested in
Shaow- your interested in curses Mercy? Creepy
Mercy- yes I need to know more about it especially because of my mana
Guvo- yes your mana is very interesting it's not like everyone else's same with Merlin's
Merlin- oh yeah my mana
Merlin looks at his hand
Mercy- Govo do you think my magic ties more into cryptic magic?
Guvo- I'm afraid so you're mana is crimson mana.
Merlin- my father said it was also known as blood mana.
Guvo- how could your father possibly know that? That name was basically completely wiped clean from history.

A few hours of class pass by
Guvo- alright it's lunch time
Mercy- lunch?
Merlin- yeah we get lunch now?
Shaow- apparently there a huge lunch area with a long tables and lots of food.
Merlin- sounds good

Guvo- it's down the right hall way and up the stairs you can't miss it
Everyone headed to lunch
Dexter- whoah there's mad food
Kubo (all bruised up)- it's okay I guess
Mercy- FINALLY!

Merlin- Already guys let's dig in
Mercy proceeds to eat piles and piles of food
Merlin ate a few plates
Shaow ate 1 plate
Dexter ate 1 as well
Kubo ate 1 plate too
And Muriel ate a few plates as well
Merlin- ahh I'm stuffed
Mercy- I'm not hey Shaow give me your plate
Shaow- here take it you freaking monster
Everyone started to laugh and have a good time until

Merlin- huh?
Shaow- better? We just got to the lunch table and your already "better" than us?
Honor- yes your mana is weak
Merlin could see his mana Honors was gold and flowing ridiculously strong and potent as well.
Merlin- so you think you can just scare us off with a your mana? I may not now how golden mana works but I'm sure my mana is more aggressive.
Honor- oh I see so you can see mana as a freshman? How very skillful most jr's still can't even see mana. But for me it came naturally I could see mana when I was born. I was born of pure mana.
Merlin- is that what they call it?
Honor- yes and I'm not afraid to show my superiority ether
Merlin- I see…I challenge you to a duel
Honor- oh but I accept
A few moments later they were outside
Guvo- my student challenged a senior to a duel? Jeez..
Pharos (one of the 12th grade teachers)- yes and my student so graciously accepted Lax
Guvo- Ma'am refrain from calling me my first name
Pharos- why we use to be pals in school what's the problem now Laxy
Guvo- That's the problem Pharos
Her full name was Dungeon Pharos and was 1 of the few 12th grade teachers she taught magic history whilst Guvo taught mana training and description.
