Our destination was on the opposite side of Mt renin, my father told that from the other side of the mountains . The duchy of Melonia starts which is governed under grandduke William von Rightburn and we are actually going there. During the conversation I noticed a solemn expression on my father's face. My mother consoled my father. I didn't understand what's going on but from there expressions I could easily make out, that they must be again hiding something from me. But from previous experiences I knew that they will not tell me anything even if I ask, so I didn't ask them.
Our carriage was special as it was driven by minotaurs or you can say evolved horses.

So naturally our carriage was moving very fast and in only a few hours we entered into a forest on the mountains , which only after crossing it we can enter the melonia duchy.

After my mother scolded my father , he made sad puppy faced look and looked at my mother. It was really hilarious.
After that everything was alright and our carriage was moving forward smoothly , but unexpectedly with a sudden jerk , the carriage came to a halt . My father looked outside the carriage to see what happened. Our carriage has stopped in the middle of the forest path. Upto long distance only large trees could be seen.
My father went outside the carriage to talk with the coachman , about the sudden halt , but suddenly from nowhere a group of 20 people jumped infront of our carriage and surrounded us.
All of there faces are covered with a strange kind of masks and each of them wearing black color clothes. After seeing my father they broke into laughter , a creepy and spine chilling laughter which could make a normal person froze to death , there eyes were filled with muderous intent . They glared towards father and then look at us.
The coachman was lying the ground , with eyes wide open which was completely white motionless. From the look, he is dead.
" Mind manipulation technique". My father mumbled.
"It looks like a well planned ambush , they have meticulously planned and were hiding for the ripe time to attack us."
Their leader is a stout heavily build man who is observing us with his keen eyes.He suddenly came forward and spoke
" kekeke , Baron Alan today is your last day, today no one can save you. "
"Oh , yes ; and you don't have to worry about your wife and son, because they will also follow you after you die, hehe..."
My father took battle stance and shouted at my mother.
" Lia ! take Theo with you and run away from here I will stall these bastards.
My mother didn't wanted to agree but thinking about my safety , she took me and ran away into the woods.
I didn't knew that this will be the last time seeing my father's face , who look at me with unspokeable emotions in his eyes.
After my father's image faded from my sight.My mother carried me running at full speed through the middle of the forest.This is the first time I saw my mother's eyes full of tears.
My heart ached loudly after seeing this , my father sacrificed himself to protect us.
This the first time I felt myself so useless.
After running for so long we came across a cave, my mother and I took shelter in it.
Mother, is completely broken from inside , but she still maintained her usual demeanor.
I panicked and called her.
"Mother, what will happen to us, did they killed father , will they kill us?"
"Theo, don't panic , don't worry my son I will not let anything happen to you, even if I die."
"No mother , please no , if anything happens to you then I will not be able to live anymore, I lost father, I can't lose you."

My mother wiped my tears , she hugged me for the last time, I still continued sobbing.

I saw outside the cave the leader of those assassin 's was standing and behind him was only 5 people remaining .
My mother glared at them revengeful burning eyes .

She unleashed her spirit energy at full power .
Without wasting any time they also attacked her at full power, she fight against them using her full powers . She was clearly at disadvantage as they were not only greater in no but they were also awakners.
She didn't give up, but they were overwhelming her completely, so to protect me , she hurriedly carried me away from them , they also started following us at high speed.
But after running a little we found that it's a dead end. On the other side of the cliff there is only a pit with an endless bottom.
The assassin 's followed us and surround us completely.
The leader then spoke,
"Lady , give up , there is nothing you can do now except submitting to your fate."
He took out his sword , caressed it and walked towards us.
"Theo".
"Mother."
"Don't worry I will protect you , remember my son we will always love you ."
Suddenly her last of our spirit power rose and suddenly a golden light enveloped me like a protective shield.
When saw my mother she coughed blood , before I could say anything she jumped down from the cliff along with me.
I saw my mother last time , she gave me beautiful smile , a smile which only can a mother give to their son, a pure smile, before she closed her eyes and see disappeared from my sight forever.
"MOTHERRRR!!! NOOOOOOO."
My eyes are filled with only despair and then everything blackened in my vision.I disappeared in the endless bottom of the dark pit.
