The biggest difference was that the separation between him and "God's container" had finally disappeared.
It was just like when a Spiritual Energy User lost control, fell, and turned into a Demon — at that time the soul can't bear the expanding Spiritual Energy within the Spiritual Body and thus cracks open. The expanding Demon bursts the Spiritual Body, and the remaining parts are then inherited by the Demon.
Theoretically, they had become one. But in reality, it was just the core of the "Demon" wrapped in an outer shell called "memory" and "personality."
