"BOSS, what do we do today? Same as the last couple of days?"
Two strong men tied up Elizabeth, ignoring her loud screams, and just turned to Old John for instructions.
"Let me go!" Elizabeth shouted, "My father is the Duke of the Great Eagle Empire. I'm willing to pay!"
Though she had maintained composure in Africa, that was only because she hadn't reached the point of utter despair yet.
But today's scene, especially after witnessing Old John brutally kill Louis and his girlfriend Nina over the past two days, made her realize she had almost no chance of surviving, leading her to breakdown.
No choice, Louis' foul mouth kept trying to bluff through the whole ordeal, which led to him being killed by Old John on the first day.
"Pay?" Old John took the cigar out of his mouth, smacking his lips, "Too bad no amount of money can wake my son up."
"Sir...Sir, we're deeply sorry about your son, but it wasn't us who hurt him!"
James, over in the other dungeon, stammered.
