It's been five years since they'd known each other, and this was the longest conversation Jiang Keer had ever had with Mu Yanze.
From those few pleading words in her brother's office, nearly close to begging him to stay, to the few guilty yet stubborn attempts to persuade him in the elevator, Jiang Keer felt her heart was about to jump right out of her throat.
Yet no matter how much nervousness she felt before, it was nothing like the intensity of this moment.
"What... what did you say?"
Jiang Keer stared blankly at Mu Yanze, as if she hadn't heard him.
Mu Yanze walked over and stood in front of Jiang Keer, "I said, Miss Jiang, may I have the pleasure of your company for dinner?"
Of course!
The little figure in her heart stomped its feet and screamed, the voice nearly shattered the crown of her head.
But Jiang Keer's face remained calm, "Why?"
"Why…"
