She faintly heard her phone ring once. When Ye Wan furrowed her brow and tried to open her eyes, everything fell silent around her.
A gentle kiss landed on her brow, and she felt a man's soft caress on her back. That brief moment of clarity in Ye Wan's mind flickered and she fell back into a deep sleep.
When she woke again, the sun was already setting outside the window.
Ye Wan: ...
On the first day of school, was this really how an exemplary senior, who was supposed to welcome the new students at the school gate, set an example?
"Lu! Chang! Chuan!"
Ye Wan shouted in exasperation.
"Sister Wan, today is Sunday. School starts tomorrow,"
Lu Changchuan leisurely walked back to the bedside, tapped her nose, and asked, "Did you sleep too deeply?"
Remembering that school actually started the next day, Ye Wan let out a long breath and flopped back onto the bed.
